Melissa Ferrell, DNP FNP-BC
Melissa Ferrell, DNP FNP-BC graduated from the University of Arizona with her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and specialized as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Ferrell's DNP project was based on improving allergy education, specifically with sublingual immunotherpay (SLIT), for nurse practitioners. It is her belief that SLIT is one of the most under utilized allergy therapies . She is the owner and sole practitioner at the Family Allergy Clinic in Mesa, AZ. She has a passion for treating allergies and improving the quality of life for her patients.
Formerly, she was a Medical Science Liaison for an allergy wholesaler and has assisted 100's of clinicians in establishing allergy programs in their practices.
